I have tanned skin and i usually look best with dark eyeshdow and a pale pink lipstick. But it also depend on the hair and eye colour, it's best to experiment with various colours.
Eyeshadow:
Perhaps a color somewhere in between scarlett and magenta, kind of like a purple with a touch of red in it.
Lipstick:
Probably a dark pink, but do not go with purple.
Try and base your eyeshadow on your eye color [Blue eyes = brown shadows] It compliments your eyes. Browns, Golds, or Deep Reds go well with tanned skin.
I don't know much about lipstick, but you'd probably want a peachy color!
With a darker skin complexion, pale colours bring out your features more. Go for a subttle pale pink lipstick and light blue eyeshadow.

You should definetly try a light purple liquid liner . And don't make the line too thin ; use more on the bottom than on the top . ( Put a thinner layer on the top )
A nice shiny silver eyeshadow would be nice , but don't put too much .

Finally , I recommend BLACK mascara , not brown . With the light purple liner , the silver shadow and your blue eyes , black mascara is the way to go .

well if you are bold enough to wear a puple shadow (good for you!) try a plum, mauve or burgundy (in the same color value) that is if you imagine taking your eyes to an extreme depth of that same color, that would make a great shade for your lips....make sense? I have actually had a fave lipstick that was purple....made my skin look great for some reason...if you are not afraid of color combos, try a soft green(yes green and purple are complimentary to each other) now go have fun!

Hiya, well firstly I would not put on too much foundation, as you look mature for your age it may give the effect of you looking even more older. So I'd go for 'Dream Matte Mousse' which has good coverage which is very light!
But of course it is all up to you.
But what I am answering this for, the eyeshadow.
-Step one;
Use eyeshadow primer, 'Urban Decay Primer Potion' is amazing and I would say it makes the colour maybe even double the brightness it would be without it; it also will make your eyeshadow stay on all day, no questions asked!:)
-Step two;
Use a light colour all over your lid, up to the crease, but not any further, maybe use a light brown or gold.
-Step three;
The colours, for your green eyes and tanned skin I would definitely go for blues and golds. The blues contrast your green eyes and will make them look a lot greener, and golds make eyes look bigger and bolder, the best thing to do would be to put golds in the corner of your eye, and to the middle, then join this colour up with the blue, so they are smudging into eachother.
-Step four;
Use the gold all along the bottom of your eye, near the eyelashes, sort of underneath.
-Step five;
Then use mascara, and your done! The best mascara I know is L'Oreal Beauty Tubes, it is amazing!
Finally, here are other possible colours you could go for:
Pinks
Silvers

But make sure you experiment, you may find a colour you love, and go for it!:D

i have the exact same features as you, and i use a sparkly gold eyeshadow. i don't use too much, but just enough that my eyelids look sexy and pretty. the reason i use gold is because with tan skin, it sort of blends in and it just works. try it!

I'm looking for a mineral eyeshadow that can be used as a eyeliner when a liner brush is dipped in water. I have the problem of my liner always creasing. Currently I use Jane Iredale liner that creases.

You have to try chimare mineral makeup - they have THE most amazing range of eyeshadows- like 48 or something and liners as well. I ve worn their stuff for the last year and I would never wear another brand of mineral makeup again.
No creasing, no flaking and no dulling of colour- they are really true to colour.
You will love them I guarentee it!
You should use a primer, specifically one for your eyes. It will give you staying power and help it not to crease.
Some people have more of a problem with this, but primer will make it all better :) with just about any eyeshadow!

I also have blue eyes and i really liked the colours, I do a base of brown which you will notice makes blue really stand out and is nice is subtle for day wear. The brand is nice too because it is hypo-allergenic. My other suggestion would be to go to your local dept. store if they have a MAC (or other brands) counter you can get a free mini-makeover and you might get some really good suggestions. try before you buy. i actually have many different brands of eyeshadow. the trick to making it last all day is wearing an eyeshadow primer underneath. it's similar to foundation primer. the primer will help your makeup set better, last longer and you won't develop makeup creases. i swear by this stuff. go to sephora and they'll hook you up with one that works for your skin.

If you have really dark brown eyes like i do you want to go for opposite colors and try to stay away from the brown family. Try an electric blue, pink, and if your really wild go for green! Remember also to highlight under the eyebrow with a white or silver as well as in the inside corner of the eye to elongate and really open those peepers up!
A slightly pearl-like cream colour would be nice. Make sure it's somewhat lighter than your skin tone. Put it only on two areas of each eye:
On the inner third of your eye-lid including the crease.
and
Under the outer-third of your eyebrow.
Then slighly smudge the shadow so there are no obvious lines between where it begins and ends.
Remember less-is-more.
This will create a nice effect often used on high fashion models

If you have really dark brown eyes like i do you want to go for opposite colors and try to stay away from the brown family. Try an electric blue, pink, and if your really wild go for green! Remember also to highlight under the eyebrow with a white or silver as well as in the inside corner of the eye to elongate and really open those peepers up!
A slightly pearl-like cream colour would be nice. Make sure it's somewhat lighter than your skin tone. Put it only on two areas of each eye:
On the inner third of your eye-lid including the crease.
and
Under the outer-third of your eyebrow.
Then slighly smudge the shadow so there are no obvious lines between where it begins and ends.
Remember less-is-more.

Hi. I'm wondering what eye colors go good with dark hair and eyes, but don't make my dark undereye circles look worse. The circles are hereditary, I'm 29 and I cannot get rid of them. For her lips I wouldnt use a lip stick, just because her eyes will already be harsh, you dont want lips and eyes all crazy, she'll look like a clown. Okay, nice description (and nice mix of origins by the way!)... alright, you should definately not wear anything too dark. Considering the origins you mentioned, you probably have quite fair skin and thus anything too dark would be too dramatic in a bad way- like you don't know how to take care of your appearance probably. Or maybe you can wear dark colors, but not too noticeable. As in, on the lower eyelid part and go lighter for the higher eyelid area. But I think what would be best, especially in this heat, would be a nice noticeable but natural look. Keep it subtle. Especially with your lips- it can look really good. So, in other words, I really suggest a good mix of an eye-catching and subtle makeover. Good luck, hope this helped and good luck!

DO NOT TRY A LIME GREEN! Dark green is the only green you should use. Avoid buying shadows with no glitter, they look bland. Try to find a sparkly color or maybe even a cream.

hey i'm canadian too lol and funny but i have black eyes too it's really hard to find a eye shadow that works for me coz on balck eyes not every color lokks good dont ever use brown or black coz it makes ur eyes lokk scary and wierd but i use purple pink and golden and they lokk really preety with my eyes my fav though is golden coz it makes ur eyes lokk natrual but at the same time it has that bronze glow it's lokks really pretty and u dont always have to use eyes shadow because black eye have a natrual glow that make shtem pretty and it makes them stand out even without the eyeshadow hope this helps

What's good colors of eyeshadow for blue eyes?

then apply like you normally would

but it also helps it stay on longer

I have the same eye color! I use gold on the lid, white in the tear duct, and brown on the edge/outer eyelid of my eye. To finish it off i use black mascara. I always get complements! Hope this helps!

If you have really dark brown eyes like i do you want to go for opposite colors and try to stay away from the brown family. Try an electric blue, pink, and if your really wild go for green! Remember also to highlight under the eyebrow with a white or silver as well as in the inside corner of the eye to elongate and really open those peepers up!
A slightly pearl-like cream colour would be nice. Make sure it's somewhat lighter than your skin tone. Put it only on two areas of each eye:
On the inner third of your eye-lid including the crease.
and
Under the outer-third of your eyebrow.
Then slighly smudge the shadow so there are no obvious lines between where it begins and ends.
Remember less-is-more.
This will create a nice effect often used on high fashion models

Hi. I'm wondering what eye colors go good with dark hair and eyes, but don't make my dark undereye circles look worse. The circles are hereditary, I'm 29 and I cannot get rid of them. I do use a good moisturizer and concealer. Still, I notice that some colors I wear seem to make my circles worse so I was wondering if there is anyone out there with the same problem and what colors do you wear? Bare Escentuals also has great foundations and concealers that help to cover them up. Purples, mauve pinks, turquoise makes them look intense, pale green to bring out the green in the color, or a light brown.
my eyes are like that too and i use browns...i really like the smokey eye look so i put dark brown on my lash line, brown on the crease and lid, and highlight on my brow bone...hope i helped

I like blue with my hazel eyes.
With hazel eyes u should do like Kelly Clarkson and just wear black eye shadow and do smoky eyes and b ib style,
