Whut is a good eyeshadow colour for brown eyes during the day? and at night?

i have large dark brown eyes and want to make them stand out,,any ideas?Whut is a good eyeshadow colour for brown eyes during the day? and at night?
Green, blue, pink, plum, greyWhut is a good eyeshadow colour for brown eyes during the day? and at night?
I also have brown eyes. I use blue eyeshadow
green, browns, taupes...NEVER prpl or blue.

At night, smokey charcoal grays, and a little silver to highlight.
i have brown eyes and i use shimmery brown eye shadow(Laura Geller chocolate mousse) for daytime and for nighttime or special occasions i use Almay trio for browns(its eye shadows especially for brown eyes--7 bucks at walmart), you can also get the Almay eyeliner and mascara for brown eyes...i hope this helps...good luck!!
for day - light blues,pinks,greens..

night - darker shades of ping, green, mauve , silver

tip - never match ur eyeshadow to ur eye color..it will become real dull
I use shades of purple...shades you like depend on your skin tone. I don't shy away from blues, greens, yellows, pinks, oranges, dark brown eyes have great versitility and it depends what I'm wearing, but my standard stand by's are black and brown. I also might sometimes use both a black or brown with a color. I like red too, but that has more to do with shock effect. While I have worn red eye make up during the day (where it seems to have the most outrageous effect) I don't see it alot and it depends what you're wearing (style and color).

My fave for a low key movie quality look with lots of dramatic effect, for day to night wear, the lightest shades of ivory and golden browns...again, shades depending on your skin tone, but you can wear anything with a brown shaded pallet. This effect always gets attention...it is a very sexy look...

Do a light (ivory, even white) lid with the outside a dark (med brns to black) shade to finish the lid...in the middle, from the inside lid fanning outward just above the lid to the bone, use a middle shade of golden brown. Finish from bone to brow, either from the middle of the eye to the outer end of the brow or from the inner brow all the way out, with a fair shade between the lightest and middle colors you chose...this will give the eye a more open look and the darker shadow a more dramatic effect. Don't forget to blend and if you like, use a black or brown pencil to line...be careful if you decide to smudge...you don't want to scatter onto the inner lid. Personally, I use a browser from NYC and I like it because it has a stiff little brush that you can use to smudge on a thin line and you can control the darkness and thickness. It comes in a couple shades of brown and if you have dark eyes, you might benefit from more than one shade. And you can use it like an eye shadow. The little portion of wax is to make your brows lay in place, but I never quite took the time to figure out how to use it. I highly recommend it though. I think I bought mine at WalMart.

Anyway, play around with some colors and you can use the brown pallet instructions for lots of colors...just keep the inside to middle of the lid in the lighter shades, the otter lid dark, the bone middle shades and the brow fair. A good set of brushes helps you do it fast, easy and mess free.

Try it...have fun!
pinks are the colors of the season, find one that matches ur skin tone and go with it.
For a natural look u could use browns, but to really make ur color eyes stand out use blue. But ask a make up artist, they will tell you how to apply it.
i use brown eyeshadow and ppl tell me if makes my eyes stand out b/c they are the same color.
COLOUR OF RAINBOW
you want to use bright neutral colors and they need to sparkle (on your eyes) but on the rest of your face use light not so shiny or sparkly colors
i think any color will make your eyes stand out like blue green pink ...but dont use eye shadow the same color as your eyes
i was told to wear purple, browns, and greens
