What is a good eyeshadow for bluey-greeny eyes?

I heard blue eyeshadow can be tacky and I heard brown is good for people with blue eyes. Is there any other colours besides brown i could wear though?

Also, my skin is pretty pale and I have dark brown, almost black hair, if that makes a difference.

Thanks! :)What is a good eyeshadow for bluey-greeny eyes?
My eyes are that color, I like coppers and bronzes to play up the blue/green. To bring out the blue, taupes and neutral browns are good, while purples seem to bring out the green. Blue can be tacky or not, depending on how it's applied--I find it accentuates the green in my eyes, while green brings out the blue. You could also wear greys or pinks. I have greeny blue eyes too, try using a whitey blue or a silver.

Hope this helps!!
Here are a few ideas:

Grey, taupe or champagne w/ a slight shimmer.

Dark green or deep navy creme eyeliner (Smashbox) thin and tight against the lash line w/ mascara.

Sheer taupe or a soft bronzer w/ black eyeliner for a simple day time look.
try the almay set for your eye color .. =)
brown does make colored eyes pop ...but u can use wear like a nice pink or mauve color...a soft one though. make sure you have white shadow in an almost line right under your eyebrows...just like you are underlining your eyebrows! i think no matter what color you wear ...you should always have the white..it just makes ure eyes look good and ure eyebrows like you just got them done!
use a gold eyeshadow. it willmake your eyes pop. or a silver. maybe even a brown or grey. when you have colorful eyes, stay away from the colorful shadows. i have blue/green eyes and i use gold and silver. never wear colors like blue, green, puple, pink, or anything like that. That does look cheap and tacky. take my advice!!
how about a glittery white/silver
