if you are going for subtle then do a light brown nude kind of color maybe with a little bit of goldish shimmer to top it off!

I have dark blue eyes but I have olive skin. I would try browns, pinks, silver, gold, copper, creams, never greens though, they tend to make mine look more green than blue. Personally I either use a pale gold or a medium brown on my lid and cream on my brow bone. Hope that helps.
Rose would work very well, in my opinion.





Just avoid the blue shadow popularized by Elizabeth Taylor. Thankfully THAT Is now out of fashion!

The best eyeshadow colors to make blue eyes stand out are always dark colors.


Dark smoky browns are the best.


But grays and blacks work very nicely also.


But since you're looking for subtle, just any cool shade would work well with blue eyes. (Cool shades being blues and purples and silvers - those types of colors.)
