What is a good substitute for eyeshadow primers?

Urban Decay and Two Faced Shadow Insurance are nice but a bit on the expensive side, and these products are hard to find in the area in which i live.What is a good substitute for eyeshadow primers?

Why are people so stuck on vaseline as being a makeup fix-all... Vaseline would not work well as a primer, it will do the opposite of what you want... it will make it smeary and greasy and it will melt off.





You should be able to find a cheap primer at a drug store, or a beauty supply store.





But concealer would work well, and with face powder over the concealer.
Longwearing cream eyeshadows work well.





Try MAC Paint Pots, Benefit Creaseless Cream Eyeshadows, or if you're on a budget, Maybelline Color Definer eyeshadow sticks (these work really well!!)
L'Oreal Decrease is a nice drugstore eyeshadow primer made specifically as a shadow primer and not for anything else.
Any creamy concealer will do the job, or your foundation.
Vaseline








On it's own or mix a little with your foundation or conceler
Any silicone powder or cream should do the same thing. Look at Fyrainne products on the web-
